Science Graduate

We require an outstanding Science graduate to join our high performing Science faculty. As a Science Graduate you will support teachers with the delivery of Science lessons as well as having your own teaching groups. No experience is necessary as full training and support will be provided. This would be particularly suitable for those considering or preparing for teacher training or those who would like to use their Science qualifications to support young people, particularly in the post pandemic climate.

As a Science Graduate you will provide support to the Science department working as an Academic Teaching Assistant. The Science Graduate role will require you to support Teachers with the delivery of Science lessons, you will also run your own Science mentoring sessions to prepare GCSE and A-Level students for examination in 2025

The Science Graduate role is available as a long-term assignment until the end of the academic year, the opportunity to secure a place on the school’s salaried teacher training programme is on offer for September 2025

The school are eager to meet the very best Science Graduates, the interview process will involve a one stage face to face interview and observation at the school.

  • Downham Market is a market town set in beautiful Norfolk, with excellent fast train links to the cultural centres of both Cambridge (33 minutes) and London (1 hour 27 minutes).
