We have a proven track record of school improvement, offering students an exciting curriculum and a wealth of opportunities outside of the classroom.

About City of London Academy Islington

City of London Academy Islington is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in North London. It is supported by the single-academy trust City of London Academy Islington Limited and sponsored by the City of London Corporation. A smaller than average-sized secondary, it will provide 805 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.

The academy opened in 2008 with the intention of providing excellent opportunities and education for all.

Its vertical house system groups together students from Years 7 through to 13, adding to the family atmosphere the school is seeking to create.
