37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days, Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:00 Friday 8.00-3:30 (30minutes lunch break)
Fixed term - Maternity Leave Cover  


The Yorkshire and the Humber Co-operative Learning Trust (YHCLT) was formed in September 2016 and is now responsible for 9 schools across Hull, 2 secondary and 7 primary schools.

We are committed to ensuring that all of our schools have access to high quality support services to underpin the excellent work our schools do in educating our pupils. 


Required from December 2020 or possibly earlier, an Admin Assistant to provide a professional response to telephone, email and face to face queries, referring matters on as necessary to the appropriate team members. To undertake reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors ensuring the relevant documents have been checked and recorded. 

To provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Finance & Administration Manager e.g. photocopying, filing, printing, laminating, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence and sorting and distributing mail. 

To update and maintain records in line with GDPR regulations. To undertake word-processing and other IT based tasks. To provide an excellent level of customer service to staff, children, parents, visitors and stakeholders. To deal with all school deliveries in line with YHCLT finance policy with guidance from the Finance and Administration Manager. 

To maintain and collate pupil records and maintain the Management Information System.  To provide day to day support with the attendance function supporting the Attendance Administration Assistant. Any other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by the Headteacher and/or Finance and Administration Manager.

At Stepney Primary we aim to be an outstanding, learning-centred school which is always looking forward: breaking down the barriers, widening the horizons!   

Stepney Primary School has approximately 242 pupils, with 40 of this number in the school's nursery. The school itself is based in a grade two listed building, built in 1886 and opened to pupils in May 1887.
