Administration Manager

We are excited to offer an opportunity to lead our amazing reception and administration team in the role of Administration Manager.

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time (39 weeks and 2 days)

Salary Range: Grade 7 Points 24-27, £31099 - £33820 per annum

Actual Salary: £26733 - £29072 per annum

Start Date: January 2023

About the role:

This role is central to the school’s communication and customer service strategy. Leading a small team, you will provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective front office, reception and reprographics facility at Penistone Grammar School ensuring that high quality, customer-focussed service is provided at all times. Key responsibilities are for staff management; operational management of administration across the school; compliance with GDPR; administrative support for the Strategic Leadership Team and Post 16; and support for events including Open Evenings and Parents evening throughout the school year.

Ideally you will have:

• High standards and an acute attention to detail

• The ability to use a wide range of IT packages including Excel, Teams and the Microsoft Office suite to a high standard

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability and willingness to lead, motivate and inspire a team of staff

• Minimum Grade C GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications generally and specifically in English/Literacy and Maths

The successful candidate will have either previous experience in a similar role or will have transferrable skills and experience and be excited at the opportunity of taking on a role within this key area.
