Strode College has a rare and exciting opportunity for passionate and inspirational Adult Skills Tutor.

 

We are looking for a motivated individual to be an Adult Skills Tutor across our range of home-based learning courses. We are looking for someone who will be able to assess across a number of courses including learning support in schools and colleges, mental health and business administration. The tutor will be responsible for managing the student learning experience from interview through to assessment, providing feedback on assignments and guiding the learners through their course. You will be required to support a diverse range of learners to make progress to achieve their individual goals. This role will also include the delivery of short remote courses and may include some face-to-face support with learners where needed

Contractual Details

 

Rate of Pay or Salary:              £31,094 per annum pro rata

 Working Time:                         20 hours per week                                        

Contract Type:                         Permanent

Pension:                                   Local Government Pension Scheme

Leave entitlement:                 29 days per annum pro rata

Strode College is a further education establishment for students aged 16 to 19, providing vocational qualifications, A-levels, and the new T-levels as well as providing degree-level qualifications.  We are based in the town of Street, in Somerset and were labelled “outstanding” in the latest Ofsted report.
