Apprentice Facilities Assistant

37 Hours per week Monday to Friday

£11137 per annum (£213 per week)

All year round, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Fixed Term for the length of the apprenticeship, with the possibility of progression to a higher apprenticeship upon successful completion

The Snaith School are looking for a Level 2 Apprentice to work with a team of premises staff to keep the school functioning effectively, maintaining the site and grounds to a high standard in order to provide an environment which enhances learning for students.

You will have:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English

• Good communication skills

• Good organisation skills

• A willingness to work towards an apprenticeship in a relevant subject

Duties include:

• Security of premises – opening and closing of school buildings

• General handy person duties

• Porterage duties – distributing deliveries of supplies to the relevant departments

• Cleaning of external areas – leaves (seasonally), litter/broken glass when required

• Minor maintenance and repairs

• Cleaning of spills as required during the day
