JOB PURPOSE

To ensure accurate import of academy data to management systems and produce reports when required by academy leadership.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain key sections of the schools Management Information System (SIMS);

• Maintain key sections of the school data analytics system (SISRA) and other associated systems (such as FFT)

• Work with the key link in the Senior Leadership Team to assist in the collation, analysis and distribution of assessments and reports on relevant data;

• Provide regular, clear and concise information in-line with assessment points;

• Maintain a complete whole school target setting process;

• Responsibility for ensuring all teaching colleagues have access to all the accurate and timely data necessary to assist in raising the progress levels and attainment of all pupils;

• Provide analysis of exam results, and information to relevant stakeholders;

• Ensure accurate input and integrity of data and system maintenance;

• Ensuring statutory requirements for reporting are met.

• To assist in the preparation of reports to parents, including the monitoring, printing, proof reading and arranging for such reports to be produced and circulated in accordance with the deadlines set on the Academy calendar.

• Creation of feedback book labels/books in line with assessment data.

• Other suitable administrative duties in line with your grade as agreed by your line manager.


Person Specification

EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience of working in a support capacity in a school is advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

• Good literacy and numeracy skills;

• Good general level of education.

• Basic knowledge of first aid and/or a willingness to undertake basic first aid training;

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of SIMS and SISRA is advantageous or a willingness to undertake training.

• Advanced excel skills and the ability to present data in a clear logical format based on individual or whole school requirements.

• Understanding of relevant policies and procedures;

• Ability to undertake varied duties;

• Ability to demonstrate limits of responsibility;

• Ability to work under the direction of different people and as part of a team;

• Good communication skills with people at all levels;

• Ability to organise own workload in the context of varied tasks;

• Ability to work calmly under pressure;

• Ability to critically evaluate own performance and make any necessary changes to be more effective.

• Flexibility at key times in the year. Whilst the majority of your workload will be carried out in term time you will be expected to support and carry out your duties at key areas of exam results outside of term time.
