We are seeking to appoint an assistant business manager. The main function of the post will be to manage the finance function within the school. You will also be expected to deputise for the business manager and assist in managing school operations. This may include providing HR advice and support for managers, marketing and PR, project management, health and safety advice and writing polices and procedures.
The ideal candidate must have experience of working in finance in a similar role. Knowledge of school finance would be advantageous. You need to be a confident, organised individual, used to working under your own initiative in a busy environment. The ability to work calmly and efficiently is essential. You should be highly numerate with strong Excel & computer skills. Training and ongoing support for the role will be provided.
