Assistant Laboratory Technician
37 hours per week – starting at 8:00 am
Grade D - £15,144 to £15,941 per annum.
Salary will be pro-rata to the hours and weeks worked.
Term Time only
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Laboratory Technician. This role will involve assisting in the provision of technician support to the school’s academic activities.
Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Laboratory Technician:
• Provide assistance and information as required in the preparation of resources for practical Science lessons that meets both the health and safety standards and the requirements of the classes involved.
• Provide general assistance in the safe storage, transit and accessibility of resources.
• Assist the senior laboratory technician to ensure a healthy, safe and productive work environment through the routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, laboratories and prep room.
• Participating in personal and professional development activities to meet the changing demands of the job.
Experience preferred, however training would be provided
