About you:

We are ideally looking for an enthusiastic teacher with an ICT specialism. You will also need to:

  • be an exceptional middle/senior leader with experience of managing change;
  • have a commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, regardless of their background or starting point;
  • have high expectations of behaviour;
  • be skilful in the use of the SIMS Management Information System;
  • have extensive relevant experience and a knowledge of timetabling;
  • able to motivate staff and pupils alike through high quality teaching, leadership and management.

You will be well supported by the senior leadership team at the academy to ensure that the overall academy vision is achieved.

About us:

Our academy has three sites with well-resourced and immaculate buildings, our academy offers pupils and staff an outstanding learning environment. The most recent Ofsted in November 2015 judged the academy consistently ‘good’ and commented that despite its increasing size, it feels calm and orderly and has an atmosphere focused on learning. Comments around Leadership included “the senior leaders and Academy Trust have been astute in identifying things that need to be improved, to make a reality of the intention not to rest on the academy’s previous successes.” Ransom Road campus is a beacon of improvement, celebrating the best results ever in 2016, something that the successful candidate will be integral in continuing to support.

In return:

You can be assured that you will be joining a well-established Multi Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed no matter what their background. You will have the opportunity to work with an ambitious and committed team of professionals, who are aspirational in their commitment to secure the best possible outcomes for staff and pupils alike.

All GAT academies work collaboratively to share best practice and are supported by the expertise within the Central Team to enable them to focus on teaching and learning. You will receive excellent opportunities for career progression and access to bespoke CPD from the Trust’s Learning Alliance to enhance your professional growth.
