Job overview
Tes Editorial are recruiting for a team support role to provide administrative, diary management and travel support to the editor, as well as booking travel for the news and features teams. The role will also involve project managing the editorial elements of all Tes Awards and events and processing contributor payments.
Key Responsibilities
● Extensive travel and diary management to the editor
● Organise and manage internal and external meetings, conferences and school visits as necessary
● Prepare letters and correspondence as required
● Co-ordinate all awards collateral and ensure that all editorial awards commitments are adhered to
● Organise judging sessions and oversee necessary materials
● Keep great and good lists up to date
● Sending out invitations to events
● Call handling and gate keeping
● Provide ad hoc administrative and project/event support to CRO, when required
Person Specification Essential Skills/Qualifications
● A levels or GCSE or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
● Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of G-Suite
● Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
● Attention to detail
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience
● Candidates should have excellent organisational skills
● Project management and event experience would be good but not essential
