Level 4C Point Range 19 – 22 (depending on experience) £24,799.00 - £26,317.00 (Actual salary range will be £21,498.00 – £22,814.00)

Hours of work: 8.30am – 4.30pm (30 minute lunch break) Monday – Thursday 

8.30am – 4.00pm (30 minute lunch break) Friday

We wish to appoint a determined, enthusiastic and highly motivated Behaviour Support Officer to join our pastoral team. You will be responsible for supporting a behaviour manager in the smooth running of our isolation provision and support students to be fully engaged with their learning. You will liaise with year teams, senior leaders, teachers and parents and give administrative support for our behaviour systems. You will help to ensure we establish consistently high standards with regard to behaviour, uniform and punctuality. The ability to work as part of a team and confidence to work with students, parents and a range of staff is essential. This is a hugely rewarding post that gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with young people and their families.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and we have just opened a new classroom block and Sixth Form social area. In the next few years the school is likely to expand to 1,700 with 500+ in the sixth form. Redborne is also a National College Support School, a Leading Edge School and has Teaching School Status.
