Bursar and Clerk to the Governors
The Governors of Exeter School invite applications for the post of Bursar and Clerk to the Governors at this leading independent co-educational day school, situated in 25 acres within the City of Exeter, with 920 pupils aged 7-18. The post is available in October 2017 on the retirement of the present Bursar.
The Bursar is responsible for the planning and management of finances, the estate, human resources, the business of the Governing Body and is part of the Senior Management Team. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and a strategic thinker, with a proven record of administration at a senior level, financial management and the control and management of projects. The candidate should be computer literate and familiar with the preparation and implementation of budgets.
The salary will be appropriate to the seniority of this key position.
