SALARY RANGE: SCALE 5 POINT 22-25 INNER LONDON

SALARY:  £25,802-£27,940 per annum pro rata/(actual salary £22,834-£24,726)

 HOURS: Full-time/37.5 hours per week - (Potential for flexibility on working patterns for the right candidate)

Term Time + 2 (40 weeks) - Initial 2-year post

START: September 2021 (although it would be beneficial for the successful candidate to join us for new staff induction training, handover and Results Days prior to starting in September.  Any hours worked will be remunerated accordingly).

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring candidate to join the small Careers and Sixth Form team to contribute to student achievement, careers education, information, advice and guidance. This is a job that goes to the heart of what we do best at Hammersmith Academy: nurturing and supporting the growth of outstanding students with high aspirations who will leave us prepared and ready for success at university or in the working world. 

We focus on building transferable employability skills, cultural capital and ambition. Our careers programme is structured around the Gatsby Benchmarks and has been assessed as offering excellent provision. All students have access to a full programme of careers education and guidance, with a range of employer engagement opportunities, work experience and university preparation. 

We are always keen to improve our programme and the Careers Coordinator will help put systems in place to ensure that we are able to work smarter and communicate better. The new Careers Coordinator will play a crucial part in helping us to plan and manage a strategic approach to our careers provision.
