We are looking for an exceptional Careers Counselor / Exams Officer to become part of our dynamic and ambitious leadership team. Doha Academy School has been providing an outstanding education to families in Doha for over 20 years.

We follow the national curriculum for England in primary. In secondary the curriculum progresses to IGCSE and AS Level qualifications.

Careers Counselor:

  • Helping students to make informed decisions about their subject and career choices.
  • Providing training to students on CV writing, letters of application, and interview techniques.
  • Facilitating careers fairs and other careers-related events.
  • Establishing a work experience programme.
  • Provide job search assistance.


Exams Officer:

  • Administration of Cambridge/Edexcel IGCSE and A Level examinations in the school including scheduling, candidate entry, coordination with the finance department regarding exam fess.
  • Coordinating mock examinations.
  • Managing the school’s exam center accounts.
  • Preparing official transcripts for students.
  • Follow-up counseling post-examination with students and parents if required.


Required skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills: English, and preferably also Arabic;
  • High organizational skills;
  • A good team player;
  • To be able to work well under pressure;
  • Computer and internet literacy;
  • Confidence and strong personality.


Qualifications / experience:

  • University graduate in Administration or Careers Counseling.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in related fields (ideally both).
  • Experience with the British Curriculum.
