About us:

The Nottingham Academy is a multi-site academy with new and refurbished buildings, offering pupils and staff an outstanding learning environment. It is one of only a handful of all-through 3-19 schools in the country with its own nursery, primary, secondary and sixth form provision across multiple sites with a capacity for 3,600 pupils. Each site is led by a Head of School in conjunction with the Lead Principal, Ged Rae. It feels calm and orderly and has an atmosphere focused on learning.

In return:

The academy is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) which is a not for profit educational charity, committed to improving the outcomes for its pupils. All GAT employees receive bespoke CPD offerings from the Learning Alliance, opportunity for career progression, generous holiday allowance and access to a competitive pension scheme.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), this is reflected in the pro-rata’d salary. A flexible approach to working hours and an interest in maintenance would be advantageous.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks, therefore, all posts within the Trust are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

The Trust welcomes applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, age or sexual orientation.
