Monday - Friday 12.10pm – 1.10pm (hours may slightly change due to staggered lunches).

The Yorkshire and the Humber Co-operative Learning Trust (YHCLT) was formed in September 2016 and is now responsible for 9 schools across Hull, 2 secondary and 7 primary schools.

Stepney Primary School is looking for someone to join our team of lunchtime supervisors to help provide a safe and friendly environment for pupils remaining on the premises during the lunchtime period.
You would be responsible for:
- Supporting children in playing games and being physically active during the lunchtime break
- Planning activities with the children
- Giving children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
- Encouraging fair and caring behaviour among the children
- Encouraging independence and self-esteem
- Talking to children about their concerns or worries
- Keeping records
We are looking for someone who enjoys motivating children and has the ability to supervise activities and to promote positive social skills. You would be a good role model reflecting the ethos of the school. You would need to make sure that play is safe, and encourage children to be aware of their own safety and that of others.
The hours of work will be 5 hours per week i.e. 1 hour a day, 12.10pm – 1.10pm (hours may slightly change due to staggered lunches).
