Feversham Primary Academies mission is to enable the development of connected, more sustainable and stronger community in BD3. We do this through amplifying the stories and lived experiences of people in our communities to drive locally-led community action and enterprise.

We are looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join our team. You will be supporting young people, parents, and the elderly to design and deliver a range of projects aimed at improving the community, ambitions, and aspirations.

You will be an energetic and proactive person – ideally from Bradford with experience and knowledge of the area and proficiency in community languaged   You will be responsible for engaging and communicating with people from different backgrounds and will work with new and existing community action groups to design and deliver projects that the community wants to engage with. This will involve relationship-building, as well as connecting people with skills, tools, and networks. You will have experience working on, or participating in, community projects and sound knowledge of the services and activities available in Bradford. You will be highly organised, have a willingness to learn new things, and above all have a strong desire to support local people to make lasting change in their borough. You will be familiar with applying for Grants and funding for projects.

Welcome to Feversham Primary Academy and thank you for your interest in our school. We are a successful and over subscribed learning hub and play an active part in the BD3 community in Bradford.

Here at Feversham, we are a proud member of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) and are judged as an outstanding school by Ofsted (2019).

Our very creative staff have a real love of teaching and we are looking for a future member of our team who can develop that sense of awe and wonder in children. The children at our school are happy, confident, fun-loving and energetic. They are passionate about their learning, be it in the traditional classroom or through drama, music, dance and painting. We are looking for education professionals who can embrace these aspects of the curriculum as well as literacy and numeracy.

These are exciting times for Feversham with planned building works to enhance our learning environments which will help improve further our children's education.
