Course Leader - Animal Management
Land Based Industries - Wigfield Farm
37 hours per week
£32,642 - £35,647 per annum
The Land Based Industries Department are looking for a highly motivated Course Leader whose principle responsibilities will be to lead, plan and deliver the Animal Management Technical qualifications and schools provision at Barnsley College’s Wigfield Farm Campus. Wigfield Farm is set in the Worsbrough Country Park area of Barnsley, the farm has three main functions:
• A base for Barnsley College Animal Management and Horticulture courses
• A working farm producing livestock
• An Open Farm and Visitors Centre accessible to the local and wider community
This is a busy and varied post and the successful applicant will play an integral role in the development of the Animal Management provision at Wigfield Farm and support the development of technical qualifications at the campus.
A recognised, proven track record of delivering outstanding Animal Management qualifications is essential.
