We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, well-qualified and inspirational teacher of Maths who is committed to the pursuit of excellence and has a strong desire and ability to lead a team that supports all members of the academy community to be successful. The successful candidate will lead our Maths department and be responsible for the development and outcomes of KS3, KS4 and KS5 Maths at our academy.
You will be able to demonstrate teaching excellence and will have a proven record of high levels of achievement across the full range of ages and abilities. Responsibilities will include achievement, progress, curriculum development and the welfare of pupils within Maths. We want our new Curriculum Area Leader to strive to ensure that every student gains a love of learning across the Maths curriculum and achieves their potential in their GCSE studies, with a significant number wanting to continue their Maths at A level and beyond.
