Full Time Curriculum Coordinator to commence in 2021. This is a two year contract.

Xavier Catholic College, Wurrumiyanga (Bathurst Island) is a co-educational Catholic Secondary College located 80 kms north of Darwin. We provide a quality Catholic education for over 70 students from Years 7-13. You will be joining a staff who are passionate about making a difference every day in the lives of Tiwi young people. The Tiwi community is very welcoming and you will quickly become part of life on Bathurst Island, experiencing many rich cultural events and learning an incredible amount about Tiwi culture and spirituality. Bathurst Island is readily accessible by air and ferry. Accommodation and assistance with relocation is provided.

The Curriculum Coordinator is a significant leadership position and we are looking for someone who is a high performing classroom teacher and current leader of Teaching and Learning programs or initiatives. The Curriculum Coordinator oversees quality classroom teaching for Xavier Catholic College students within a pedagogical framework that is collaboratively developed with the school’s Tiwi and non-Tiwi teachers to ensure appropriate and relevant high impact, evidence-based teaching practices that focus on improvement for every student.
