 This is a maternity leave cover post for up to one year.

Based in the School of Education Services, the role involves leading the Adult English, Math's and Employability Teams.  You will have line management experience and will manage ten staff  including Programme Leaders, Lecturers and Instructors.

Part of your role will involve teaching Functional Skills English, so you must have recent experience of teaching functional skills English and also be qualified to teach English.

You must have good curriculum knowledge of all three curriculum areas.

Qualifications delivered by the teams include Functional Skills and GCSE English & Maths, Employability Certificates and I.T. Awards.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, teaching qualification and also ideally a management qualification.
