Job overview

The key focus of this newly created position  is to develop and support the digital aspect of the School’s marketing activities.  The post holder will be instrumental in launching new online initiatives and will report directly to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO).  The post is a permanent, full-time role which involves working both during, and outside of, school term times.

The ideal candidate:

  • A degree in Marketing.
  • A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or equivalent.
  • A commitment to CPD.
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO, Marketing Automation and Affiliate programmes.
  • A strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.

Location

The school is located in Abingdon-on-Thames, an historic market town situated eight miles to the south of Oxford with its world renowned reputation as a centre of academic excellence. The town has a lively community and has undergone recent development to upgrade the central shopping area. There are a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars situated a just few minutes walk away from the river and gardens of Abbey Meadows. The town supports a mixed and international community and has excellent bus links to Oxford which is just a 15 minute ride away and provides a wealth of social and cultural opportunities.
