Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike.

Maltings and New Rickstones Academies provide the best possible environment and resourcing that can be offered. The Business and Computing teams are housed across dedicated classrooms all furnished with interactive whiteboards connected to the academy network.

As Director of Humanities you will lead and manage these departments across the two academies. You will be an outstanding teacher of Geography and/or History, able to deliver lessons that inspire our learners to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will have the drive for continuous improvement to lead an outstanding department.
