Established in 2011, the Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) is an exciting and successful family of 22 primary and secondary academies and further education providers, arranged in four clusters across the Midlands, East Anglia and Essex. Our Trust shapes the futures of over 12,000 children. Its academies are performing well, from a starting point well below national expectations. A very high percentage are now Ofsted Good and standards have continually improved over the past few years. 

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Director of the ATT Institute to join our central leadership team. This is a brand new post which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop. You will ensure that every learner thrives as you set the very highest standards for people development, developing trust-wide people development which will secure the best conditions for academic achievement through high-quality people development.

You will have experience of effective partnership working and of developing good working relationships with all stakeholders, as well as the ability to quickly build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.  You will also have the ability to operate strategically to draw on national and regional initiatives and apply them to the ATT Institute offer in order to support our trust priorities.

It goes without saying that you should be an experienced and inspirational leader with an impressive track record of securing exceptional outcomes for young people. Equally importantly, you will be passionate about best practice - and determined to make all the difference every day. 

Ultimately you will lead people development in a trust that has a clear vision of accelerating pupil progress, harnessing its resources, engaging its people, flourishing in its communities and achieving growth through excellence. 

We operate flexibly at ATT and so you may choose to work from one of our academies or situate yourself at our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield. Regular travel to our academies and central office will be required.

• 2016 KS2 progress results in reading, writing and maths broadly in line with national average
• 0.11 Progress 8 score which is above national average
• 11% increase in pupils achieving 5 GCSE A*-C grades including English and maths to 53%
• Average sixth form vocational level is Distinction+
