This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enterprising and inspirational leader to join the senior executive team here at Brampton Manor Trust (BMT) as Director of Operations and to work alongside our excellent Director of Finance to take us on the next phase of our exciting journey.   

Brampton Manor Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) currently comprising of two very large schools located in East Ham, London: Brampton Manor Academy (an 11-18 school) and Langdon Academy (a 3-16 school). Between, our two schools, we cater for well over 4000 students and employ over 600 staff. Our annual turnover is nearly £30 million pounds and growing. We are in active discussions with the relevant authorities to significantly increase our physical capacity and for another school to join our MAT.

We are looking to appoint a colleague that:  

• Is able to work collaboratively with our highly capable and experienced Director of Finance and other staff to effectively deliver the Trust’s aims and objectives; 

• Will provide strategic leadership of Operations, Compliance, IT, Health and Safety, Administration and Procurement across the Trust; 

• Has the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, contractors and other external stakeholders; 

• Is willing to lead by example,  be a team player and go the extra mile for our staff and students; 

• Is fully committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of students; 

• Is professional, enthusiastic, flexible and with an attention both to detail and the bigger picture.

Brampton Manor Academy is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school and we serve a rich and culturally diverse community in East Ham, close to London City Airport and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park situated in Stratford.

Ranked as one of the top schools in the country for pupil progress at both GCSE and A Level and rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in all categories in both 2012 and 2018, our students recently featured in the national media as a result of 51 of them securing conditional offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge. Brampton Manor converted to Academy status in April 2011 and formed a multi-academy trust called Brampton Manor Trust in 2013. In January 2014, Brampton Manor sponsored another local school, Langdon Academy (a 3-16 school), who joined our Trust in January 2014. There is strong collaborative working between our schools.
