Key Skills:
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and dynamic teaching experience in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies at the Elementary School level (Grades 1-6).
  • Showcase a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.
  • Commit to attaining the highest standards in teaching and learning.
  • Inspire with high expectations of pupil attainment, behaviour, and well-being.
  • Possess technical expertise with Interactive Whiteboards, Office 365 and Zoom.
Responsibilities:
  • Planning and preparation of core lesson subjects; Mathematics, English, Science and Social Studies.
  • Help pupils to succeed in their learning tasks, promoting general progress and well-being.
  • Commit to nurturing the social, emotional, and mental well-being of students by fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that helps every child thrive.
  • Communicate and consult with parents of pupils at parent teacher conferences.
  • Contribute to and attend whole school meetings and events as required throughout the school year.
  • Offer extra-curricular activities to support the ethos and enrichment of the school's provision.

Additional Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor or Master of Education degree (or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum of two years of teaching experience as the lead teacher in a classroom.
  • Demonstrate eagerness and willingness to inspire students and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Maintain high academic standards and a commitment to making a difference in international education.
  • Ensure assessments support ongoing learning and provide timely, relevant, and appropriate feedback to students on formative and summative assessments.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management that shows an understanding of the academic, social, ad emotional dimensions of learning.
  • Knowledge of the Cambridge Primary/Lower Secondary programme is an asset.
