Bilborough College Nottingham
Examination Invigilators, Casual
£8.44 per hour
We are looking for friendly, flexible and reliable people to join our talented team of invigilators to support our students in their summer examinations. Full training will be given but previous experience invigilating or working with young people would be an advantage. As this is a casual contract, hours and days will vary according to need, but invigilators can expect between 2 and 8 hours’ work, Monday to Friday during the exams in May and June and occasional work at other times.
We are a Sixth Form College with a diverse student community. 25% of our current students are from black or minority ethnic backgrounds and we are committed to constantly adapting to meet their needs. We expect the successful candidate to have a commitment to high standards and hard work to support the curriculum in securing high quality outcomes for all students, and be able to interact effectively with students of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as they are under-represented within our staff.
The College is committed to the Children's Act and all successful appointments will be subject to Barred List and DBS clearance (formerly CRB).
This vacancy is only open to candidates who are eligible/have the right to work in the UK. Original documentation will be required as evidence.
Unfortunately, we do not accept CV’s. To request an application form in an alternative format, please contact the HR Assistant on the same number.
Closing date: Midnight Friday 23rd March 2018
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on Wednesday 28th March 2018
