Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for over 580 pupils aged 3-18 years.  Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, we operate the Diamond Edge Model of education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos.   

We are seeking to appoint an experienced finance officer with at least two years’ experience in a financial department and committed to working in an educational setting.  You will report to the School Finance Manager and work independently on the day-to-day management of all aspects of the School’s finances, providing support and advice as required.  You will be responsible for fees and collection, finance administration and will provide additional support throughout the Audit period.    

The successful applicant must be a highly numerate professional team player with proven customer service and problem solving skills.    Absolute discretion and the ability to work accurately and under pressure are essential qualities.  Experience of Sage 200 accounts package, fee master billing software and an accountancy qualification are advantageous but not essential.  

The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider School community.
