Exeter School is the leading co-educational day school in the Southwest, educating over 1,000 pupils aged 3-18. We are looking to appoint a Finance administrator to join our school, a school of great character, to start immediately.

This posts sits within a small, friendly team where the successful applicants skills will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of both the Senior School and Exeter Pre-prep.

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Finance Assistant to provide essential support to our busy finance department. In this varied role, you’ll take ownership of managing the purchase ledger, assist with departmental budget monitoring, contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, and carry out a range of general finance and administrative tasks.

We’re seeking applicants with proven experience in finance or accounting within a fast-paced office environment. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential, along with excellent IT proficiency, particularly in Excel and computerised accounting systems, plus sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

This is a full-time, permanent post working 37.5 hours per week 8.30 to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (on site). We offer a salary of £28,000 per annum generous benefits, including free school lunch during term time, free on-site parking and use of indoor swimming pool and fitness suite.
