Welcome to Academy Transformation Trust, a not-for-profit charitable trust of 22 schools across central England, including primary, secondary, special, and further education.
At ATT, we believe that education can be transformative. With many of our academies in areas where high levels of social disadvantage have too often adversely affected young people, we aim to provide every ATT learner with the support, encouragement and high-quality education they need to achieve the best possible start to their future.
Our Four Critical Questions guide us in everything we do, whilst the principles of Challenge, Support and Intervention help us to constantly reflect on and improve our approach. Our model of aligned autonomy is a real strength of our Trust. It allows our expert education team to align best practice and high standards across all our academies, whilst implementing targeted support unique to each school’s local need. Over the past two years, this approach has had a profound impact, evidenced in successive positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.
As well as investing in our learners, we’re proud to be an organisation that invests in its staff. Our ATT Institute works hard to deliver a broad offer of CPD to our 1,800 colleagues, ensuring that all staff have the opportunity to grow their skillset and develop in their career, no matter their role.
Our Priorities
- Achieve greater alignment of culture and routines.
- Map processes to achieve greater efficiency.
- Improve attendance.
- Align curriculum and improve student outcomes.
Our Performance: Ofsted
We’ve achieved a long run of consecutive positive outcomes from Ofsted inspections. Nineteen of our academies are rated Good; one is rated Outstanding; the academy most recently inspected, after single-word judgements ceased, is Good in 3/4 key areas; the final academy has not yet been inspected.
