Term Time Only (plus 2 training days)

12 hours per week term time only (plus Training Days) - Thursday and Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm (15 minute paid break)

Level 2 Point Range 3-6 depending on experience - £22.737.00 - £23,893.00 pro rata (Actual salary range will be £6,420.00 - £6,747.00)

We wish to appoint a flexible, hardworking individual as a First Aid and administration assistant. You will be based in our north school reception and the role will include being the first point of contact for First Aid and First Aid administration. The role also includes a range of administrative duties and some reception cover. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working and friendly team player who is able to demonstrate:

Working in a school requires you to have strong organisational and communication skills. There will be face-to-face interaction with students, teachers, parents, and members of staff.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important. Experience is desirable but not essential; the successful candidate will be expected to complete First Aid training. 

The successful candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring check.

All offers of employment are “conditional” until Disclosure and Barring and qualification checks have been successfully completed and satisfactory references have been received. Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and Sixth Form social area. In the next few years the school is likely to expand to 1,700 with 500+ in the sixth form.
