Taylor's International School KL offers an English curriculum with a Malaysian flavour. The school is located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur and caters to students from Early Years through to currently Year 12. Students sit for IGCSE and A level examinations. The school is part of Taylor’s Education Group, Malaysia’s premier private education group which operates Garden International School, and Nexus International Schools, as well as Taylor’s University. With a current enrolment of nearly 1770 (with over 36 different nationalities), approximately 18% of teachers at the school are expatriates; with the remainder of the teachers being Malaysian. The curriculum is so much more than just academic lessons and the school places emphasis not only on academic excellence, but on character building, performing as well as physical health and development. The school’s purpose statement is to “educate the youth of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community”, which encapsulates its holistic approach to education.
The school is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Geography teacher in the Secondary School, to teach through to IGCSE and A level. It would also be desirable that the candidates can teach Global Perspectives through to A level as well.

The School
Our campus is located very close to the CBD, and the main shopping malls of KL city centre. The school has transformed from a Malaysian curriculum school with a rich 30 year history into now its 10th year as an International Curriculum School.
With a current enrolment of over 1200 students (50% Asian expatriates and 50% Malaysian) and around 40 different nationalities, our school is a busy, thriving community of learners. Approximately 10% of teachers at the school are expatriates with the remainder of the teachers being Malaysian. We are a truly international school that is very proud of its Malaysian roots and identity providing a rapidly developing, vibrant multicultural learning environment.
Taylor's International School offers a holistic education from Early Years to IGCSE, and follows the National Curriculum of England at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, adapted for Malaysia. All students study Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. The school follows IGCSE courses from CAIE.
