We are seeking an assistant coach for posts commencing in January 2020 to support with the development of our thriving Gymnastics Academy Programme, establishing a high performing Elite Academy for able gymnasts as well as developing a love of recreational gymnastics in many within our community. Gain the opportunity to work alongside a BG Head coach and an enthusiastic team to further develop gymnastics across all age groups of the school. We offer the chance to spend a full year (January to December) in a highly professional educational environment, whilst having time to explore the rich culture of Thailand and South East Asia. As a member of the boarding house team, you would also assist in boarding life, including supporting daily routines, activities and the general pastoral and academic needs of our boarders.
Minimum requirements: Level 1 Women's Artistic through British Gymnastics.
Job gained experience:
Further develop your coaching experience and learn how to manage Harrow Bangkok’s recreational and elite gymnastics programmes, as part of the schools activities programme and Gymnastic Academy
Work alongside the head coach to ensure effective communication of the Gymnastics Academy programme, including its organisation and outcomes, to the school community.
Assist the head coach to coordinate gymnastics provision within the PE curriculum.
Assist with the maintenance and ongoing development of our gymnastics facilities to the highest possible standards of excellence and safety and maximise utilisation.
Learn how to coordinate all Harrow Bangkok Gymnastics Programmes: BISAC, FOBISIA, SEASAC and other tournaments and invitational meetings.
