Salary: £10,000 per annum + full board accommodation

We have an exciting opportunity for a new graduate to join Taunton School International Middle School from September 2018.  

This one year residential post provides valuable support to our students, through various sports, classroom learning and also to administration staff.  Additionally, it offers an exciting and ideal opportunity for graduates, considering a career in education in the UK or internationally, to experience a year in the life of this energetic, forward-looking and outstanding international School.  

We are looking for candidates with a range of interests and specialisms including PE/Games, Music, Drama, EAL or SEND for the next academic year and candidates are asked to state their specialisms on their application.  

We aim to offer our GRA’s a memorable year working with lively and interesting students within a flourishing co-educational environment. The School will provide full board accommodation in an on-site boarding house or school accommodation during term time. You will also have access to a gym and swimming pool on site, and you will also have opportunities for continuing professional development and training. Our GRA’s are assigned a mentor for their year who will provide advice on professional development and working with students both in the classroom and in the boarding house.  

This experience provides a platform for various career progressions paths; many of our GRA’s are accepted on Teacher Training courses and we have an excellent record in universities such as Exeter and Durham.

Taunton School received exceptional feedback in most recent inspection report

Taunton School is celebrating after it has received exceptional feedback following an inspection by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate in 2024.
