MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON

Part time, temporary position (22 hours per fortnight) commencing 24 May for the remainder of the 2021 school year.


Applicants must:

  • have a current NSW Working with Children Check
  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Proven ability as an effective team member.
  • Ability to understand the work environment by, learning quickly to use and maintain, equipment, materials and chemical supplies
  • Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
  • Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
