We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business and Computing to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business with experience teaching KS3-4.

At our school, we currently offer GCSE Computer Science and Business as well as BTEC Enterprise. As the Head of Business and Computer Science, you will also have the opportunity to participate in AET subject network curriculum meetings four times a year. This will be a great chance to keep up with the latest curriculum developments and share best practices. We have dedicated computer suites with Chromebooks and four classrooms dedicated to computer suites.

Our school has a strong focus on extracurricular activities. We have two clubs, Magic the Gathering and Warhammer, which are designed to support our students' critical thinking, Maths, Engineering, Arts, and reading skills. We also hold a yearly careers fair for year 10 and 11, with local businesses collaborating with the local MP Priti Patel. Enterprise students have the opportunity to learn about local businesses, which helps them gain a better understanding of the industry.

Business and Computing Science are very popular among our students, and next year, we are expecting 70% of the cohort to select the subject. As the Head of Business and Computer science, you will have the opportunity to develop the department in your vision, ensuring that our students have a clear path from Year 7 and are passionate about the subject.
