St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students, teachers and support staff alike.

Head of Engagement & Special Events 

Commencing ASAP 

This role is responsible to the Director of Development and Engagement for developing the strategy for events and other engagement activities for the whole of the Pauline community – Old Paulines, parents of current and/or former pupils, and staff – and for implementing it with the Engagement and Events Team. They will work closely with the Director to cultivate prospects through an events and engagement pipeline to secure major gifts. The post-holder will work closely with the Director to provide direction and oversee on a day-to-day basis a programme of brilliantly executed opportunities for members of this community to engage in a number of ways whether socially, professionally or philanthropically.

This is a full time post with an excellent salary and benefits package, dependent on qualifications and experience.

St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.

Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
