Head of English Faculty – TLR 1.1 

An enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of English is required from January 2018 to lead our thriving English Faculty at one of the highest performing schools in Tamworth and North Warwickshire. We pride ourselves on:

We are looking for a talented and committed Head of English who can contribute to the ongoing success of the school.  We are keen to appoint an inspirational leader to plan, shape and deliver great lessons at KS3/4 which allow all students to reach their potential.

If you are successful in your application, you will:

• Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team in delivering ongoing excellent provision in this core subject

• Be committed to teaching English at GCSE level

• Continue to develop the new GCSE English specifications using their own ideas and to develop a flagship department across school and the local area

• Develop a Key Stage 3 curriculum that inspires students and provides solid and challenging foundations for Key Stage 4.
