This is a newly created role within the Hiring Solutions division reporting to the Divisional Finance Director. This role will define and deliver a finance operating model driving improvements in reporting processes and financial controls, including designing and implementing any required system enhancements.


Key responsibilities include:

· Manage, lead and develop the month end process supported by the Hiring Solutions Management Accountant

· Accountable for the accuracy of all monthly financial information including revenue analysis, commissions accruals, divisional P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations

· Understand and report on key P&L variances to plan

· Ensure that all Group reporting deliverables are submitted as requested

· Ownership of the billing & credits processes including management of Billings Assistant and Customer Services Executive

· Identify and resolve legacy system or reporting issues including overseeing the reconciliation of Business Intelligence data used by the FP&A team to the Financial Reporting information

· Work closely with the Hiring Solutions Operations team and the Finance Systems Manager to support any systems development work as appropriate to improve the accuracy or efficiency of reporting

· Document financial controls/business rules in the existing Order to Invoice cycle and identify and implement improvements 

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the month-end reporting process or 

· Support ad-hoc project requests as required


Knowledge & Skills:

· Advanced Excel skills

· Strong commercial awareness combined with robust numerical and analytical skills

· Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organisational skill

· Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop practical solutions in a collaborative manner

· Be committed and flexible in your approach to work and able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work

· Passionate about providing support to the business; drive and enthusiasm to use management reporting to identify and deliver financial or operational improvements
