The Gregg is a forward-looking, independent school situated to the east of Southampton, with a roll of approximately 300 boys and girls aged 11-16. Small class sizes provide an excellent learning environment, where “pupils make good progress, attain well and consistently achieve well at GCSE.” (ISI Inspection February 2011).
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Head of Food and Nutrition, and welcome applications from the state and independent sector.
The successful candidate will teach Food and Nutrition at KS3 and KS4, and will have the opportunity to further develop an already successful department. The School places a high value on the benefits of co-curricular activities, and the post holder will be expected to participate in the School’s co-curricular programme.

The Gregg School is a mixed, independent, non-denominational, secondary day school, situated in Southampton, Hampshire. The school, which is set in 23 acres of private landscaped grounds, has approximately 320 pupils aged 11-16 on its roll.
The Gregg School was founded in 1901 and is a member of both the Independent Schools Association and the Independent Schools Council. The Trust and Board of Governors jointly govern the preparatory St Winifred's School and The Gregg School.
