Temporary Head of Geography

Commencing 1st June 2018

The Gregg is a forward-looking, independent school situated to the east of Southampton, with a roll of 320 boys and girls aged 11-16. Small class sizes provide an excellent learning environment.

We require a full-time Head of Geography to lead this thriving department which consistently achieves excellent GCSE results, for a period of twelve months whilst the permanent post holder takes maternity leave. The successful candidate must be prepared to organise and lead an overseas Geography Revision Trip for GCSE students.

The Gregg School is a mixed, independent, non-denominational, secondary day school, situated in Southampton, Hampshire. The school, which is set in 23 acres of private landscaped grounds, has approximately 320 pupils aged 11-16 on its roll. 

The Gregg School was founded in 1901 and is a member of both the Independent Schools Association and the Independent Schools Council. The Trust and Board of Governors jointly govern the preparatory St Winifred's School and The Gregg School.
