Head of Health & Social Care
Start Date: 8 January 2018
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Head of Department to manage a thriving Health & Social Care department offering courses at BTEC Level 2 and 3. The successful candidate should be an experienced practitioner, with a successful track record in respect to outcomes and experience in managing teams. Such a candidate will need talent, vision and the skill to inspire excellence in both colleagues and students. The college has a small on-site nursery with a very experienced manager and the person appointed to this role will also act as line manager/coach to the Nursery Manager.
The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ scale (£26,710- £42,128) per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting) Progression will be by one scale point each year, subject to satisfactory appraisal outcomes, until scale 9 is reached. A Responsibility Allowance for this role is payable starting from £4,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
