We are looking for a Head of KS3 Mathematics and numeracy to lead and manage the teaching of Key stage 3 Mathematics under the direction of the Head of Mathematics. To work in collaboration with Shotton Hall Research School and help to promote the use of evidence-based practice as a tool for school improvement across the school, with a particular focus on KS3 Mathematics.

The Academy at Shotton Hall is a fully comprehensive Academy in Peterlee which provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for 11 – 16 year olds. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we were judged to be 'Outstanding' - the highest accolade a school can achieve.
