Values and Vision

The school strives to be a supportive and inspiring environment, allowing each pupil to shine as an individual. It wants children to grow as independent learners; to feel safe and happy; to value friendship and other people's opinions; and to understand their place in the school as well as the part they can play in a globalised society.

Scarisbrick Hall School is the founder of The Global Classroom, a unique charity and education movement that unites children from around the world. Delivered in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and supported by UNICEF, The Global Classroom is the largest digital classroom in the world. An extraordinary programme of aspirational events from some of the most influential leaders in their fields have been delivered to children all over the world. Guest speakers have included: Denise Lewis, OBE – Olympic Athlete; David Henson, MBE – Parasport Athlete; Ben Lesser – Holocaust Survivor; Dr Maria Van Kerkhove – World Health Organisation Infectious Diseases Epidemiologist and many others.  In May 2022 we spoke live with Dr Stefanie Milan from NASA about the James Webb Space Telescope.

In September 2023 Scarisbrick Hall School opened the brand new Oak Theatre, Gasworks Cafe and Oak Studios.  The Oak Studio is home to Dance and Drama studios, Music and Practice rooms and a state of the art recording studio and media editing suite.

The Oak Theatre can hold up to 400 people and is used for many of our school events throughout the year.

ISI

In November 2022, Scarisbrick Hall School was subject to an inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). We are proud to announce we received a 100% Excellent Inspectorate Report with particular focus on the quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements and their personal development which were both rated excellent.

This excellent report confirms our place as one of the most accomplished and highly acclaimed independent schools in the region.
