Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. The academies have a shared Sixth Form provision in a dedicated building, adjacent to New Rickstones Academy.

You will support the Assistant Vice Principal with the academy’s pastoral care programme, having responsibility for leading and developing all students in the year group. You will co-ordinate the work of the Form Tutors and monitor and support the overall progress and development of students including monitoring attendance.

You will be an outstanding teacher with experience of teaching one or more of the following subjects: Geography; Business; Maths; Science; English. You will be a strong leader, committed to promoting the highest standards of student achievement and behaviour and able to inspire students and staff.

The post is based at Maltings Academy but you may also be required to teach at New Rickstones Academy and Witham Sixth Form Centre.
