HR Officer
£18,594 – £21,688 per annum, pro rata, (£16,663 – £19,436 per annum, actual)
8am – 4.15pm, 36 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks)
The HR Officer will administer HR support within the school, receiving guidance as necessary from GEP’s HR Manager.
You will demonstrate:
· Understanding of school policies and procedures, staff HR Policy and code of conduct, and understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
· Knowledge of current DBS requirements.
· Understanding of requirements relating to the right to work in the UK.
· Familiar with best practice HR processes.
· Strong written communication skills with excellent accuracy and literacy.
· Good telephone manner and ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
· Good planning and organisational skills.
· Ability to manage sensitive issues with staff and maintain confidentiality.
· Competent in use of office systems including Word, Excel and mail merge.
· Competent in use of SIMS.
