Job overview

We are a transformed Academy with outstanding leadership and management (OFSTED 2014).

  The Academy secured a Progress 8 score of 0.81, which places us in the top 1% nationally for student progress. The Academy is ranked the 6th best school in London and 15th best school in the country.

In order to help us facilitate our vision we are looking to appoint a Human Resource and Operations Director to start as soon as possible.

About City of London Academy Islington

City of London Academy Islington is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in North London. It is supported by the single-academy trust City of London Academy Islington Limited and sponsored by the City of London Corporation. A smaller than average-sized secondary, it will provide 805 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.

The academy opened in 2008 with the intention of providing excellent opportunities and education for all.

Its vertical house system groups together students from Years 7 through to 13, adding to the family atmosphere the school is seeking to create.
