We are looking for an IT Network & Systems Manager who would like to join our dynamic and successful school; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
The successful candidate will:
Lead the delivery of IT Services so that school staff are effectively supported in their delivery of short and longer-term educational ambitions.
Lead the management of all IT network, staff, resources and contracts, ensuring the optimisation and effective delivery of services.
Co-ordinate all IT activities to ensure the availability of systems, services and data to all stakeholders.
Work to ensure that IT is regarded as a strength of the school by providing the strategic leadership and management to ensure the successful development of the IT provision.
Have demonstrable detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of Network Management in a related field.
Either hold, or be working towards, a graduate degree or Level 7 qualification.
Have experience of working with large IT networks.
Be highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking, with a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Have a commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities.
Be committed to the principles and practice of safeguarding all young people.

Whitmore High School is a mixed, non-denominational community comprehensive secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in the London Borough of Harrow, and is operated by the local council.
Whitmore was founded in 1974, and has about 1,600 pupils.
