Learning Manager - English

We are looking for a Learning Manager to support our English Department in delivering teaching and learning. The role will involve supervising classes during short-term absence of teachers, primarily in English, but also in other subjects. You will also provide technical and administrative support to the English Department.

The successful applicant will have a commitment to working to support the success of all young people and a willingness to engage fully in continued professional development. This post is ideal for someone wishing to gain experience in a school, in support of a future teacher training application. A qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a genuine passion for English and either has, or would like to gain some classroom experience
• good communication skills
• enthusiasm and a commitment to make a difference to students
• the ability to manage time effectively
• good IT skills
• the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
